The Murder of Roger Ackroyd Review
Reading Agatha Christie again after a long time was enjoyable. It is clear why she is a popular author, being the second most widely published author after the Bible and Shakespeare. Her character descriptions and plot development are well-executed. The paragraph about the character Caroline stood out to me. While she does have some recurring themes, such as gathering suspects in one room and throwing red herrings, I was surprised by the twist in this book. Overall, I am glad I read it and my book group had a good time discussing it.
